FAQs
LEHONA PRODUCTS
WHAT IS 18K GOLD?
The 18k gold is known as gold of 750 thousandths or 18 carats (18/24). That is, for every 24 parts by weight of the alloy, 18 of them are pure gold and the rest are other metals, typically, silver and copper, which give it the ideal hardness and color for jewelry finishes.
ARE ALL LEHONA PRODUCTS 18K GOLD?
Indeed. We recommend that, before buying 18k gold, you verify its appropriate certifications, as it is not 14k, 12k or 9k.
HOW DO I KNOW IT IS, IN FACT, 18K GOLD?
Legally, 18k gold must be verified by an official testing laboratory that guarantees its degree of purity and that it is effectively 18k gold. And that’s exactly what we do with each of our pieces.
CAN I BUY ONLY MEDAL OR CHAIN?
Yes, you can buy all of our parts independently except the clips and hoops.

HOW TO TAKE CARE OF YOUR JEWELRY
WHAT SHOULD YOU AVOID?
Avoid exposing your jewelry to rubbing or bumps, since although gold and gems are hard minerals, a strong blow could damage them. We do not recommend that you put them in contact with other jewelry as they could scratch each other.
It is not advisable to put a jewel in contact with chlorine, bleach, ammonia or other abrasive chemicals (hairspray, perfumes or sprays), since they can affect gold and gems.
HOW CAN YOU MAINTAIN YOUR JEWELRY?
We recommend that you clean your jewelry regularly using a mixture of mild soapy water, and if you want a soft brush to remove dust or dirt.
Rinse well and dry your jewelry before storing it, trying to store it in its case or in a cloth bag.
Once every two years, it is a good idea to take them to the jeweler for professional maintenance.
If you have any questions, we are here to help you! Get in touch by email at hola@lehona.com or in the Contact section.
